Flit enables cross-chain interoperability, allowing users to seamlessly transfer token between different blockchain networks. This process involves using bridging tokens that represent token on one network while maintaining a corresponding value on another. When transferring assets, the original token is locked on the source blockchain, and an equivalent amount of bridging tokens is minted on the destination blockchain. Conversely, when bridging tokens are burned, the original token is released back on the source blockchain.

Requirements to Operate

  1. Sufficient Native Assets: Ensure you have enough native assets to cover transaction fees on the source blockchain.

  2. Connect Your Wallet: Make sure your wallet is connected to Flit.

Steps to Bridge Token

  1. Select the Source Chain: In the "Transfer from" field, choose the blockchain you want to bridge token from.

  2. Select the Destination Chain: In the "Transfer to" field, select the blockchain where you want to receive your token.

  3. Enter the Amount: Specify the amount of token you wish to transfer.

  4. Press the Burn Button: Click on the Burn button to initiate the transfer.

  5. Confirm the Transaction: Approve the transaction in your wallet.

  6. Verify Transaction Details: Monitor transaction progress at transaction history.

Fees

Flit charges a fee of 0.1% for each transfer, along with an additional 0.1% fee from the liquidity provider (LP). For example, if a user bridges 100 USDT from Ethereum (ETH) to Binance Smart Chain (BSC), the user will pay:

  • Total Cost: 100 USDT + Native GAS fee (which includes LayerZero protocol fees converted based on the BNB gas fee).

  • Final Amount Received: The user will receive approximately 99.8 USDT on the BSC chain after deducting the fees.
